The Exit Strategy Network

A media, learning, and partnership platform helping creators, communities, experts and institutions turn lived experience into practical resources and fundable pathways that support people through transition without self-abandonment.

How do we build lives, work, relationships, communities, and creative paths that don’t require us to abandon ourselves in order to belong, earn, be loved, or be safe?

There are moments when the life you were taught to build no longer feels like a life you can actually live inside.

You may still be showing up. Still answering the emails. Still caring for everyone. Still carrying the title, the role, the responsibility, the relationship, the family expectations, the bills, the performance, the smile.

But something in your body knows the truth before your life has language for it.

This is where The Exit Strategy Network™ begins.

The Exit Strategy Network is a connected body of media, learning experiences, community conversations, audio practices, resources, and Creator-in-Residence partnerships created by Ms. Marisha Dixon. It was born from her own transition out of extractive work, an unpaid mental health sabbatical, and the decision to stop building a life that required her to disappear from herself in order to survive.

What began as a personal pause became a larger question:

That question became the heart of The Exit Strategy Network™.

At the root of the work is Abandoning Self-Abandonment.

This is the practice of noticing where we have been trained to leave ourselves behind in socially acceptable ways: in overworking, in caregiving, in silence, in ambition, in family patterns, in relationships, in the pressure to be useful before being well.

It’s the moment someone realizes, “I have been calling this responsibility, but my body has been calling it survival.”

How do we build lives, work, relationships, communities, and creative paths that do not require us to abandon ourselves in order to belong, earn, be loved, or be safe?

Once you name that truth, another question surfaces:

If I am no longer willing to abandon myself, what kind of life am I actually trying to build?

That’s where Whole Life Wealth enters.

Whole Life Wealth™, also known as the 8 Dimensions of Wellness, is not only about money, titles, visibility, or achievement.

It’s about whether your life is actually livable across the parts of being human that so often get separated: career, financial health, emotional wellbeing, physical health, relationships, home, joy, and purpose.

Whole Life Wealth™ asks:

  • Can your body breathe inside the life you are building?

  • Can your relationships hold your truth?

  • Can your work honor your values and your capacity?

  • Can your home support your nervous system?

  • Can joy be part of the design, not something you earn after depletion?

  • Can your money support dignity, not just survival?

Once those questions are on the table, the work becomes more than personal reflection. It becomes a new way to create, learn, teach, partner, earn, and serve.

And that’s where the Creator-in-Residence model becomes the pathway.

Introducing the Role of the Future:

Creator-in-Residence

The Exit Strategy Network Creator-in-Residence™ (CIR) model helps artists, creators, educators, founders, practitioners, and impact professionals turn lived experience, creative intelligence, and career wisdom into meaningful media, practical resources, community and self-guided learning experiences, event activations, and partner-supported offerings.

CIRs give people a way to ask:

  • What have I lived that taught me something useful?

  • What did I have to learn through trial, grief, debt, burnout, heartbreak, care, survival, or reinvention?

  • What do I now know that could help someone else feel less alone, more prepared, more supported, or more free?

  • How can I share without turning myself into content for content’s sake or repeating the same extractive patterns I am trying to leave?

The Road Ahead

The Exit Strategy Network begins with Ms. Marisha’s current body of connected properties. These are the first proof examples and living demonstrations of how story, skill set, creative intelligence, and personal practice can become media, resources, rituals, conversations, and partner opportunities.

Big Ideas, Real Impact.

These creative properties are not separate projects fighting for attention. They’re rooms inside the same world.

One room helps people tell the truth.
One room helps people listen.
One room helps people return to themselves.
One room helps families and communities speak with more care.
One room helps impact-minded people turn what they’ve lived and learned into something that can support others.

The long-term vision is for other Creators-in-Residence to enter this world and build their own media, rituals, learning experiences, resources, workshops, and partner-supported offerings through the same larger platform.

In that way, The Exit Strategy Network™ is not only a personal brand or a media project, it’s a learning environment for the parts of life many of us were expected to figure out alone.

It gives people language for what they’re living.
It gives creators a way to shape what they know.
It gives brands and institutions a more human way to build trust.
It gives partners a meaningful way to support the communities they serve.
And it gives culture a new frame for success: not just achievement, but wholeness.

The Exit Strategy Network™ is helping people build what comes after a major life transition without losing themselves again.
